Diagnosis

E. orophasma differs from its closely related species E.variabilis by its darker greenish grey forewing ground colour whereas pinkish-rosy irroration present on the forewing of other species.

Description

Wingspan 40-42mm. Head, vertex and thorax covered with darker scales. Forewing darker greyish-green coloured with three white gamma mark present on the medial area. Hindwing rounded yellowish-grey. In male genitalia valva broader and rounded. Vesica with small cornutus present on the apical part.
