Diagnosis

T. lectula differs from its closely related species T.daubei by its very long silvery broad white streak as compared to T.daubei. In female genitalia corpus bursae of T.lectula is longer and broader than other species.

Description

Wingspan 29-31mm. Head, vertex and thorax covered with dark reddish-brown scales. Forewing median area velvet yellowish-green; broad white streak mark found on the median area. Terminal area suffused with Pinkish colour. Reniform greyish with white lines on its inner and outer angle. Pair of comma like mark present above the median area and below the costal margin. Post median line sinuous. Hindwing rounded yellowish and darker towards the marginal area. In female genitalia corpus bursae longer and obliquely rounded. Ductus bursae long and moderately narrow.
