Diagnosis
T. intermixa differs from its closely related species T. Orichalcea (Fabricius, 1775) (which occurs sympatrically) by its golden patch which is more wider than other. Head with frons and vertex more reddish. In male genitalia vesica with small terminal cornuti with respect C. orichalcea.
Description:
Wingspan of adult 33-35mm. Head, collar & vertex dark reddish orange coloured. Forewing covered with metallic golden shimmering. Hindwings unpatterned & paler- brown, somewhat darker at the margin. Male genitalia longer & thinner,clavus longer. Saccus broader. Vesica with smaller terminal cornuti. Corpus bursae in female genitalia deltoid.
